The Lio & Associates team undertook a study for the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing that examined integrating drain water heat recovery systems into SB-12. The study sought to clarify a number of the assumption that were made in the Code change proposals submitted by manufacturers of the DWHR systems, and provided recommendations for the Ministry to consider integrating a set of prescriptive requirements that explicitly address DWHR systems.
